Ever since getting our dog Toby, I've been bringing him to any open spaces I could find. He loves chasing the ball so getting out is very important and just walking around the neighborhood wasn't good enough. I first found a golf course that many dog owners would meet at. That was okay for a while but a golf course isn't great for dogs all year round. Then I found another park that I had to drive to but oh what a difference it made for Toby. It became his favorite place to go. It also became my favorite place to take pictures. I loved bringing my camera because people and dogs were all very receptive.

The stories and activity that I found at the parks I went to were all very interesting. That gave me the idea to start documenting my experiences and collecting stories to do a book. The book has led me to pursue a career as a pet photographer. I love working with dogs and dog lovers. Here you'll see some examples of photos I've been taking over the past few years at the park.
